Get Your Kicks
was a dark bay filly who was 7 days old when she came to Eagle Hill. If you could have see her jump around and leap in the air, you would have known how she got her name.
Sadly, Get Your Kicks was put down on April 28th, due to a birth condition that caused telescoping of her colon. However, in the short time she was here, she was adorable and fiesty and full of life. She was loved, hugged, stroked, and cuddled. She knew love from people and this world. May she still be doing her "airs above the ground" across the "rainbow bridge".

Remembering "Bambi"
Bambi was an adorable young lady. She was always so feminine and often slept with her front legs crossed. She was probably a Quarter Horse cross and appeared to be gaited. Bambi, adopted by Brian Sperry, was born on the 4th of March. She and Andy were the youngest arriving being only a few days old. She was pampered, loved, and knew only kindness from people up until her death. She was put down the end of June due to a twisted colon.

Bambi as she looked about two days after her arrival pictured with another owner. Notice her crossed legs - so demure!

This was taken of Bambi the beginning of June. Although still small, she was no more the little tiny fragile baby that arrived. She knew she was loved and wouldn't hesitate to come up to anyone for a hug. May she enjoy long gallops, green pastures, and love.

Remembering "Liebchen"
Liebchen was an adorable, dainty little filly who had some health problems but never gave up and always loved her hugs, strokes and pets. She was played with by all the children who came to visit and even received a lot of individual attention because of her frail conditions. She was here only a few months, but she touched all of our hearts and we wish her green pastures and lots of horse buddies as well as the memories of all the love she received here at Eagle Hill.
